The curriculum at MUA is dedicated to promoting the motto on the School's Seal: Key to Knowledge. MUA ensures, Insha'Allah that our children have Islamic character and manners, can recite the Qur'an with Tajweed, can understand the basic meanings of the Qur'an, and feel compelled to obey Allah's commands. Students are encouraged not only to acquire knowledge, to explore new ideas, and to use technology, but also to think critically, as writers, readers, mathematicians, scientists, linguists, artists, speakers, and citizens. MUA offers a rich and challenging curriculum designed to engage student interest, and develop every student to fullest potential. Small class size promotes a highly interactive academic environment conducive to group discussion and tailored instruction. MUA's Montessori Program for students in first through grade three gives the student the ability to constantly be challenged by the wide variety of material and their many uses. The children with a high level of ability will not feel the boredom of waiting for other members of the class and the children with a lower level of ability may take his/her time and will not feel left out. The Abbott program was designed by the State of New Jersey to ensure that young children in pre-school are given high quality education that can allow youngsters to make an easy transition to Kindergarten. |
